Mid America Pulling Association (MAPA) is an organization of garden tractor pullers in central Iowa. The club was founded in 1983 and still runs about 15-20 pulls every year between June and September.
Each pull showcases a wide variety of classes ranging from a Stock class for kids under the age of 15, a Stock Altered class, a Super Stock class, a Modified class, and an Outlaw class. Each class runs a light and a heavy weight. A pull averages about 50 hooks, but in the last few years there have been as many as 75.
Our governing body is made up of six board members (three permanent and three elected) and one secretary/treasurer. If you have any questions about our rules, schedule, or the club in general, you can find their contact information on our Contact MAPA page.
